12 Hours of Sebring at Simeone Museum and Tour
Saturday, March 28th at 9:30am
Join us for our first tour of 2020 as we enjoy some scenic roads in South Jersey with tour master Scott Pelletier.
We will be starting our tour from the Red Lion Diner, 1753 US-206, Southampton Township, NJ (Rt 70 and RT 206) at 9:30 am and heading to the Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum located at 6825-31 Norwitch Dr, Philadelphia, PA.
We will also enjoy the Flying W Airport as part of our tour on our way to Philadelphia.
We will end our tour on at the Simeone Museum near the Philadelphia International Airport to enjoy the 12 Hours of Sebring Demo day and on site food truck. We will be provided parking on site and reduced admission.
This is a new event offered by Schattenbaum’s DE Program! You can now take your Porsche on a racetrack in a low speed experience.
The event takes place at NJ Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ. All Porsches are eligible – 4 door, SUV and sports cars. You start out with a classroom session at 11 am, then a quick check of your vehicle. At 1:15, you’ll then get to drive on the racetrack guided by one of our qualified instructors. This is a one day only activity on Saturday, March 21, 2020. The cost of this Taste of the Track is $50. Go to our website to sign up via the Track Events -> Drivers Education page.

John Gaydos – Performance Specialist from Soul Performance – Products (www.soulpp.com)

We have invited John Gaydos from Soul Performance Products to our March monthly meeting. Before joining Soul Performance Products, John worked at a premier Porsche racing shop in Florida (AutoQuest MotorSports) where he developed hands-on knowledge of exhaust, ECU tuning, brakes, suspension/chassis development, aero and all the finer details of maximizing performance in all aspects of the Porsche platform. He will be speaking specifically about SOUL’s exhaust manufacturing on various Porsche models and how it can change the sound and performance of your car, as well as their involvement with PCA. Q&A on general topics of tailoring the driving experience via third party products unrelated to exhaust are also welcome.
Their manufacturing and installation facility is located in Willow Grove, PA, and John will be bringing his 987.2 Cayman R for a sound demonstration in the parking lot.
Prizes will be given out

· Updates on Social, Concours and Touring Events
· Food and Beer will be provided by the Club
