I’ve been a Schattenbaum member since 2011. I was the Board Secretary back in 2016-17 and Vice President the last two years before becoming Club President. I’ve been a fan of Porsche cars since the days of the 911S and the 917, the car featured on the Schattenbaum logo. I didn’t get to drive those back then, but have tried to make up for lost time at our DE events where I drive a 996 GT3 track car. Off the track, I drive a 2004 GT3 and a 997 Carrera.

As club president, I look forward to continuing and developing new activities that appeal to club members, everything from admiring immaculate cars at a concours to savoring lobsters down the shore to keeping up with friends at our DE events. I am guessing many of you have ideas for other events. We’re always on the lookout for new activities, so please share your thoughts at one of our monthly meetings or drop me an email.

Hello Schattenbaum Members!

My name is Nick Katsikis and I am the past Club President. The club has been very successful over the years, and I have truly enjoyed all the events and will continue to stay involved and support the board in any way I can.

I have been a member of the PCA since 2014, and held the positions of President, VP, and Concour chair. My love affair with German cars, especially Porsche stems back to my early childhood when my father introduced me to the 930 Turbo as well as numerous other German cars he has owned over the years. I am an avid car collector with 27 vehicles in my current stable, which on the Porsche side, includes a 1983 928 S, 1984 944, 1974 914 1.8 and 1975 914 2.0. I have a hard time letting go and have been fortunate enough to keep all my babies and just continue to add more.

In my professional life, I am the COO for a local multifamily real estate company that operates over 3,000 units in 3 states. I handle all aspects of the business at each hotel from day-to-day operations to financials, physical plant maintenance and most important, the resident experience.

Part of what makes our club so great are you, the club members! I look forward to the opportunity to see all of you in 2025!

Jon has been a PCA member since 1991 and has served in several Schattenbaum executive board positions over the years. 

As Track Registrar Jon handles all aspects of the process of registering drivers for our Drivers Education events.  This includes running the registration website on Motorsportreg.com, making sure entrants are registered properly, pairing instructors and novice drivers, and on-site check-in at the track.

Hello, my name is Eduard Hanekom.

I am currently a co-chair member for concours, along with Sean Gallagher. We are involved in organizing and judging club related car shows. My love for cars started at a young age going to car events with my grandfather, as he had some vintage cars. One of my passions is detailing cars, so I am always learning about new products, tips and techniques to keep a vehicle in showroom condition.

I’ve been a member of Schattenbaum since 1997. I’m currently the Chief Driving Instructor and co chair of our track program. My day job is flying Boeing 787’s for American Airlines. I currently drive a 981 GT4 Clubsport on the track. I also own 2 993’s, one a former track car and the other a pure street car that I’ve owned since new. Purchasing that car is what led me to join PCA. Prior to that I owned a 928 and even a 914 that I bought as my first car in high school, $1200 in 1977. I served in the Air Force as a pilot until retirement in 2011. In addition to participating with Schattenbaum I volunteer as a Club Race Steward with PCA national.
